PAC Manager
The Long Run is seeking a diligent and dedicated individual to join the team at The Long Run PAC to support critical races ahead of the 2024 Election. The Manager will be an integral member of our team, facilitating fundraising call time, managing political and donor relationships, maintaining the principal’s schedule, and other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time position based in either Madison or Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Staffing call time with principal, handling donor follow-up, scheduling donor meetings, and preparing finance briefings with in-state individuals.
- Working with the finance consultants to prepare call sheets and scripts, schedule call time, and coordinate national finance travel.
- Handle all incoming scheduling requests and maintain the principal’s calendar in close coordination with other stakeholders and the principal.
- Coordinate both in-state and out-of-state travel for the principal.
- Manage incoming endorsement requests and remain up to date on potential TLR candidates throughout the country.
- Maintain multiple finance, endorsement, and requests databases.
- Drive and staff the principal as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience with a political or issue campaign/organization is preferred, but not required
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and anticipate needs
- Strict attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Access to a laptop and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self starter mentality and ability to work independently and in team settings
- Ability to occasionally work irregular hours including weekends

Compensation
- Salary: $5,000/month based on experience
- Benefits: Full employer paid health, dental, and vision. Employees accrue two vacation days a month.
