MADISON — On Saturday, Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes, Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, hosted a rally with Sen. Amy Klobuchar in St. Croix County. Featured speakers included End Citizens United // Let America Vote President Tiffany Muller and former state senator Patty Schachtner.
During the day, Mandela discussed his plan to support and uplift Wisconsin’s rural and agricultural communities.
- On Saturday, Lt. Governor and Democratic Senate candidate, Mandela Barnes, visited farms in rural counties including in Black River Falls to discuss his ideas for uplifting family farms in Wisconsin’s rural communities.
- “We are united in so many struggles. People just want a good school to send their children to. People want a good job that puts food on the table. People want to be able to go to the doctor without worrying about a surprise bill. These are the things we could and should be delivering for the people of this country. But it doesn’t happen unless we show up and we organize this November.”
